For many routine health-screening services, yes, subject to provider availability.
For planned surgery, the hospital will normally need to review your medical information before providing a treatment proposal.
We can facilitate specialist review and treatment coordination with participating orthopaedic providers where appropriate. The treating surgeon determines whether surgery is suitable.
We can facilitate specialist oncology assessment through selected providers. Treatment options depend on diagnosis and clinical eligibility.
For selected diagnoses, we can facilitate initial assessment by Chinese clinical teams offering relevant CAR-T programmes. Eligibility cannot be guaranteed.
There is no universal percentage. Treatment costs depend on your home country, Chinese provider, medical condition and procedure. We therefore prefer obtaining real treatment estimates rather than making generic savings claims.
Where appropriate providers are available and willing to evaluate the case, we may be able to present more than one option.
Depending on your service package, Aequum can arrange bilingual local patient support.
Usually yes, subject to immigration and hospital policies. For major treatment we often encourage having an appropriate support person where clinically and practically advisable.
Yes, these can form part of the coordination service.
Availability varies by hospital. Aequum can assist with obtaining and, where required, translating available treatment documentation.
This depends on the treatment and jurisdiction. A medical procedure being legally performed in China does not necessarily mean a particular medicine or treatment has regulatory approval in the patient's home country. We will seek to make the status clear where relevant.
